CEVELAND, Ohio, May 25.— More than forty nominations have been received by I racing secretary Reeder, of Bainbridge Park, i for the Ohio Derby, which is to be run i June 4. The nominations close next Satur- I day, May 28. Economic and Stepenfetchit, second and third, respectively, in the Kentucky Derby, , are the two most prominent entrants, and . Economic is regarded as a probable starter. , His owner, J. H. Louchheim, sent last years winner of the Derby, A la Carte. Col. E. R. Bradley has entered Bertjohn, Bengal Tiger and one other. S. W. Labrots Springsteel is on the list and J. J. Robinson named Lucky Tom and Renaissance. Adobe Post, now at Washington Park in the Knebelkamp and Morris Stable, is an eligible. The Bainbridge Breeders Association is expecting that if Stepenfetchit is not shipped to Cleveland for the race, Mrs. J. H. Whitneys stable will be represented by Over Time.
