The son of f Bubbling Over and Minawand bowed in one - leg and he may not be seen under colors 5 again this year. The full extent of the injury ■ and the duration of his retirement can not be determined, pending a thorough t examination by the veterinarian. Meanwhile - the colt is definitely out of the American Derby, which will be renewed at Washington • Park next Saturday. Burgoo King was to have been shipped West tomorrow. Burgoo Kings name was added to the list t of other notable cripples of the season i Saturday morning, when the bow developed. . There also was considerable swelling. This 5 prevented a complete examination and diagnosis. - The veterinarian was called to the ; Bradley stable at Belmont Park post haste. . He could make only a superficial examin- ation and would not venture an opinion as 3 to the seriousness of the injury pending I developments within twenty-four hours.
