; . . « HERTZ HORSES AT ARLINGTON The arrival Saturday morning at Arlington Park of the stables of Mrs. John Hertz, Warren Wright, Morris Vehon and W. R. Coe marked the first shipment from the East for the thirty-day meeting that opens Monday, June 27. Trainer William Knapp supervised the unloading of the twenty-two Hertz and four Wright horses and Louis Feustel looked after the six Vehon representatives. Bennet Creech is in charge of the Coe band of a dozen. Chief among the horses owned by Mrs. Hertz is the Classic candidate, Pairbypair, and the speedy filly, Risque, wihch is a probable starter in the Arlington Inaugural Handicap, opening day headliner, as well as a nominee for the Stars and Stripes, Arlington and Arlington Matron Handicaps. Jockey Earl Steffen accompanied the shipment, while L. Knapp came with Creech to do the bulk of his riding.
