RACING WINS IN COURT TES1 SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., Aug. 25. Sterling Carr, San Francisco lawyer who is fighting the proposed racing law for California, lost his first skirmish when. Judge Glenn, of Sacramento, yesterday denied his application for an injunction that would have prevented the Secretary of State from placing the amendment on the ballot. L. C.
