HAWTHORNE PADDOCK SALE CICERO, 111., Aug. 25. A sale of horses was conducted in the paddock at Hawthorne Wednesday, eleven head being disposed of and most important of those offered were the stock of Max Hirsch. For the eleven head ,325 was realized, an average of 93. P. A. Nash, representing the Shandon Farm Stable, paid top price of ,900 for At Top, a chestnut filly, by American Flag Lovers Lane II., and B. S. Michell bought Mighty Atom for 00.
