BUYS SISTER TO PHAR LAP ADELAIDE, Australia, Aug. 25 John Hay Whitney, the American sportsman, purchased Nea Lap, a sister to Phar Lap, the Australian champion thoroughbred which died early this year in California after winning the Agua Caliente Handicap. Nea Lap is five years old and it is understood that she will be shipped to America and sent to the Whitney breeding farm. Nea Lap is by Night Raid and Entreaty, by Winkie.
