INVITE ONTARIO TRACK OWNERS TORONTO, Ont., Oct. 18. The second move in the governments display of interest in racing affairs of the Province of Ontario was an invitation extended to interests controlling the nine courses in the province to attend a conference in Queens Park today for the purpose of discussing the grievances of the breeders. This follows a recent tour of the breeding farms by Premier Henry and members of his cabinet. It is rumored that Premier Henry wishes to sound out the feeling toward the appointment of a racing commission. Breeders contend that the only reason Canadian owners could not take full advantage of the racing opportunities presented by the various associations this year was because of the arrangement of dates, which would be one duty of a commission. Opposition to the commission plan is expected to develop from some quarters.
