FAIRMOUNT OFFICIALS LEAVE COLLINSVILLE, 111., Oct. 18. Judge Richard A. Leigh, who will have charge of the stable assignments at Jefferson Park, left by motor for New Orleans Sunday morning and will be on the job at the Shrewsbury oval on Tuesday. Judge Julius Reeder left by motor for New Orleans. Judge John T. Ireland left for his home in Paris, Ky., Sunday morning and will remain there until the opening of the Jefferson meeting. Joseph Cattarinich left for Chicago, Cleveland and New York and Montreal. General manager Robert S. Eddy, Jr., remains at Fairmount for this week. Track superintendent Placide Frigerio will leave for New Orleans Tuesday to get the Jefferson oval ready for the opening on Thanksgiving Day. Charles Campeau, placing judge at Fair-mount, left for New Orleans Sunday and will remain there, his home, until the first of January when he will leave for Havana. Cliff Abbo returned to New Orleans.
