1 BOWIE STAKE FEATURES LAUREL, Md., Oct. 18. Joseph McLennan, racing secretary of the Southern Maryland Agricultural Association, today issued the stake nominations to horsemen for Bowie next month. Nominations close Saturday, October 29. The outstanding races to be xvn at Bowie are: The ,000 Prince Georges Autumn Handicap, at a mile and one-sixteenth, for two-year-olds, to be run Saturday, November 19; 5,000 Bryan and OHara Handicap, at a mile and three-sixteenths, for three-year-olds and upward, to be run Tuesday, November 29.
