EMPRESS WU improved her position gradually and closed strongly. RUTHS HOPE weakened in the stretch. SORA, fractious at the post, became unmanageable, injured her rider at the post, delaying the start fifteen minutes changing riders, then began slowly from the outside and was outrun. ELLEN FISHER had good speed for a half mile. MUCHO GUSTO, capable of doing much better, dropped out of contention at the start and was outrun. QCQ24 SIXTH RACE— 3-4 Mile out of chute.
