SPRINGSTEEL LAID TO REST SALEM, N. H., July 2.-The ill-fated Springsteel was laid to rest in the infield at Rockingham Park yesterday morning just a few yards from where he fell. Ben Chapman had charge of the burial, and a crowd of nearly 500 was on hand to give the "Galloping Grey Ghost" a sendoff as touching and tearful as that given to some human beings. — ♦ _
