1 DALLAS TURF NOTES T S. J. Molay, owner of the good two-year-old, Blind Pig, was an arrival from New Orleans. He reports the last horses leaving j the Fair Grounds a few days ago when a j carload was shipped to Aurora. j G. Arnold is here and as usual will do the bulk of the riding; for the St. Louis Stable. Charles Houbre, trainer for H. Oots, is resting the filly Dustanna until Fair Park opens. The filly was a recent winner at Oaklawn Park. W. C. Reichert moved three of his horses here from Arlington Downs Friday. The balance of the Reichert stable will be housed here after Arlington. Downs comes to a close. The horses of B. Manziel, Texas owner, are here in charge of L. R. Arnold. In the Manziel stable are Sergeant Hill, Royal Link, Royal Treasure and Gypsy Jane. H. K. Barron, another Texan, has three Texas-bred horses to sport his silks. They are Range Boss, Good Scout and Flikerry. Seven head are here in charge of J. M. Buckland. The stable is made up of a well balanced lot and includes Wichita City, Losing Clon, Eric T., Carl B., Olive Sabath, Empress Yvonne and Altmark. J. O. Burttschell, trainer for Mrs. H. Dattner, has the three-year-olds Ginbuck and Paradox Girl, as well as the two-year-olds Hourless Queen, Chance Queen, Jim McCabe, Governor Bill and Unlucky King. Governor Bill had the firing irons applied to his limbs during the Fair Grounds meeting at New Orleans. Frank Grand has Lady Mary, Clinton, Morning Cry, Just High and The Trainer stabled here, while Chiefs Phide, Justice B. and Le Flore are quartered at Arlington Downs. Grand will move the trio here after the Arlington Downs meeting. The veteran, J. Sylvester, was a recent arrival from Oaklawn Park and will ride free lance. He reports to I. S. Shaffer at Detroit the middle of May. Shaffer will have nineteen head to race at Detroit. Jockey W. Lowe has been here several days after having a good season at Oaklawn Park. Lowe is under contract to W. E. Turner and will report to his contract employer at Detroit the latter part of the month. The horses of Mrs. W. M. Cain are being galloped each morning by apprentice F. Kurinec, who came here from Oaklawn Park. Cain will race Alamae, Val J. and Miss Sergeant at Fair Park. Ralph Whittaker is connected with F. C. Dunn, who is training Thistle Jock, Thistle Ginny, Racketeer, Fortunate Youth and Dorothy Dale. The latter was purchased from the Lone Star Stable before Dunn shipped from New Orleans. Two veterans seen galloping horses each morning are S. Hicks and the diminutive C. Hanauer. Both are keeping in shape for the coming meeting. H. Howard is getting Winged Wind, Moresoris and Scotch Tom ready. Howard has not raced his horses since the Epsom Downs session.
