POLO RACE VICTOR SAN MATEO, Calif., April 5 J. B. Balding, international polo star, won the polo race held at Bay Meadows Thursday with his eight-year-old gelding Froach Bleinn. Lindsay Howard, teammate of Baldings on the California polo team was second with the six-year-old War Boots, while F. W. Fuller, Jr.. was third with Happy. Lindsay Howard was off in front with his mount, but Mr. Baldings animal came very fast -through the stretch to draw out in the last furlong, and won by seven lengths. Although there was no betting on the aiffair, interest was keen, and the winning horse and rider were cheered upon their return to the judges stand; . - ,
