DALLAS TURF NOTES e J. C. Sawyer, whose trainers license was suspended for thirty days during the Alamo Downs meeting, was restored to good standing with the termination of his suspension, and he took over Gallahad Maid and My Surprise to train for W. T. Johnson and Sons Six Bar Stable. W. W. Finn unloaded Mokan and Thistle Cleo at Fair Park. They came from Oak-lawn Park, and Finn intends vanning them to Arlington Downs to fill their engagements. - Eugene Lutz, trainer of Mrs. Floyd Wests horses, received congratulations on his sixty-ninth birthday today. Lutz has been owning and training horses for more than, thir- ty-five years, and he said his biggest thrill came when Messenger Boy carried his silks to victory in the four-mile cup at Churchill Downs. J. H. Logan arrived at Fair Park from Miami with Jakovia, Contrast, Languorous and Sleepy Joe. C. E. Smith, who has several horses here in charge of E. W. Meyers, is a visitor from his home at Houston. C. L. Lowenstein, nephew of Mose and Jake Lowenstein, unloaded Masked Revue and Wise " Revue. The pair came from Miami. A. K. Vail, Texas owner, unloaded Marine Star- and Wild Iris at Fair Park. E. F. Woodward, part owner of the Woodward and Smith stable, is a visitor from his home at Houston.
