RADIO BEAM took the lead at once, steadily drew away from the field, and came on to win by a wide margin. MY BOW, close up throughout, was in close quarters for the first part, came fast through the Stretch when clear, and was going good at the finish, but was no match for the winner. AYESHA, outrun J from the start, saved ground rounding the turn, but weakened slightly in the final eighth. SILVER CROWN came with a rush while rounding the turn on the outside and, closing very fast in the stretch, finished gamely. JESSIE CLOUD had some early speed but tired in the stretch run. TOPSY OMAR, outrun in the early part, came around the leaders rounding the turn and, under good handling, drew away from the field in the stretch to an easy win. STRATAGEM, off slowly, saved ground on the inner rail all the way and closed very fast in the final eighth. LAPLAND, off in front, was taken back of the pace for the first half mile, then came again in the stretch and was going gamely at- the finish. RED COLORS, close to the early pacemaker, got to the front momentarily in the stretch, but tired in the final drive. VOLTANNA went to the front soon after the break, set the pace to the stretch head, then tired. LA REINA raced in close quarters for the first part, came through between horses on the turn, got up with the leader, but tired thereafter. BETTER BROOK got off very slowly..
