W. F. AXTON HORSES FOR SALE E. D. Axton Decides to Dispose of Stud and Horses in Training -To Hold Sale May 6. . LEXINGTON, Ky., April 27. E. D. Axton. brother of the late Wood F. Axton, president of the Axton-Fisher Tobacco Company of Louisville, today announced that it has been decided to disperse the stud of thoroughbred horses maintained by Mr. Axton at his farm at Skylight, Ky., near Louisville, and likewise to dispose of the forty-five horses which were bred by Mr. Axton and which are in training at Louisville. The horses in training are to be sold in the receiving barn paddock at Churchill Downs on Monday, May 6, beginning at 10:30 A. M., with John Bain of Lexington as auctioneer. The stallions, mares, foals and yearlings are to be sold later in the year at the farm at Skylight. The horses to be sold on May 6 include, the good handicap performer, Frank Or-mont. Monks Star, Pretty Monk" and Billy Bob are three other five-year-olds in the string. Bay Servant, Two Sons "and Floorman are four-year-olds. The three-year-olds to be sold are Behemoth, Watonga, Chickasha, Gannon-nic, Hank MacTavish, Ruths Hope, Paradisical, Moa, Bill Bleiweiss, Lillian Uhl, Taint of Gold, Old Traveller, Eddie Helck and Big Clifty. The two-year-olds to be sold are Nicks Gal, Southern Way, Great Meadows, Me-mana, Monks Beauty, Sky o Blue, Nicks Chuck, Harry Barnard, Ormonette, Letty Ormont, Bay Memor, Bobs Boy, Miss Monk, Min Ormont, Pretty Cathy, Chessie, Devilish I Nick, Kimmie Cabanis, Falls City, Wardell, Ormont, Ipi Witch, Clover Port and Ru-denia. There are five other horses in training in the string of Joe H. Tivis at Alamo .Downs, Texas, which will be sold at Alamo Downs. They are Natamemor, Sallie Bourland, Finger Wave, Synopsis and Montmary.
