RIDERS FOR AURORA RACING Paul Keester and Other Competent Jockeys to Be Seen in Saddle at Fox River Track. AURORA, 111., April 27. Paul Keester, who happens to be Americas leading jockey at the moment, comes back to Aurora next week to take the heaviest loss he is likely to be called upon to sustain during the rest of his riding career. The loss will be his apprentice allowance of five pounds, the allowance which permits him to get in five pounds lighter than the veterans against whom he has been competing since last May. For an apprentice is entitled to his five pound edge for only one year after the rate of his first winning ride. Keester rode the first winner of his meteoric career on the" second day of the Aurora meeting of 1934. There will be many race riders at the Aurora meeting, which opens the long Illinois season next Wednesday, whose names are not familiar to casual racegoers; with them, of course, there will be plenty of veterans that have been riding on the Chicago circuit since racing was legalized here. The Aurora list includes, besides Keester, C. Parvin, T. P. Martin, who is making a comeback; D. R. Stuller, W. Lang, Jim Henry, J. Sylvester, F. Polk, Pablo Martinez, J. Dabson, M. Healey,- Nick Burger, Johnny Leyland, L. Turner, T. Price, D. Froggatte, J. Ketry, Glen Horn, F. Hodges, W. Magner, well-to-do Chicago youngster; C. King, J. Hernandez, C. Mills, J. King, K. McCray, G. Wray, C. Greenwood, M. Verbus, W. Lowe and R. Clemons.
