GAME saved ground all the way and in a courageous finish outstayed JUST MARIE. The latter displayed good speed throughout and held on well. SLIP KNOT worked her way up next to the inner rail in the stretch and held the balance safe. DONNA LASCARI raced on the outside of the opposition throuehout. WILD DAUGHTER finished going strongly. PAPILLOTE quickly raced up next to the inner rail, took command in the first quarter and after displaying good speed, held on well in the final drive. MAVRO was best, but acted badly at the post and was forced to work his way up on the outside, but finished fastest. ZAIDEE held on fairly well. THELMA L. finished strongly. FALSEHOOD was tiring at the end. SISTER IKIE closed ground. OLD BOSS saved ground in the stretch. MERE SATIN quit. NISIA also had to come to the outside of the leaders entering the stretch, but continued courageously in the run home. KING KELLY went into the lead after rounding the far turn and was in close quarters when a sixteenth out. but held the others safe. ELCIDIO closed much ground when too late.
