Booth, was cut down in the seventh race Monday and will be out of training for some time. All Roses also received minor injuries in the same event. Jockey G. Courtney arrived from Toronto and will accept mounts Wednesday. Courtney will ride as a free lance and can do 101 pounds. G. McCann disposed of the plater Squeaky to Mrs. R. E. Richards at private terms. A. Burrill arrived with the platers Dunlins Lad and Prince Dunroyal from Toronto. Dunlins Lad is the property of W. Russeli and Prince Dunroyal runs in his own interest. Both platers will be in charge of trainer R. Russell. Trainer J. Cassidy unloaded the home-bred Refiner, the property of G. Starke, at the Mount Royal course Tuesday morning. Palm Island, a carded starter in the juvenile event Monday, pulled up lame after being blown out Monday morning and was ordered withdrawn by the stewards. Two local riders led the wage earners for the first seven days of the meeting. S. Bee-croft drew 08, L. Laurin was a close second with 06, while the veteran Elmer Fator was third with 63. J. U. Gratton, prominent local patron who is racing an extensive stable at the Narra-gansett track, was a visitor at Mount Royal Monday.
