OMAHA TURF NOTES ~"1 $ Jockey D. R. Stuller has completely recovered from his illness, but will not accept mounts during the remainder of the meeting. He will accompany jockeys J. Boucher and J. W. Frye and agent Thorpe to Windsor at the close of this meeting. Jockey Johnny Hernandez was an arrival from Riverside Park, and will be active here for the balance of the season. C. C. Lemons brought in four horses from Riverside Park to campaign at Ak-Sar-Ben. The horses are Just Imagine, Baptiste, Daisy Bane and Any Price. The latter is a two-year-old. Starter Jack Hodgins meted out the first suspension of the Ak-Sar-Ben meeting when he suspended jockey P. Petrella for two day3 for disobedience at the post Saturday. Apprentice F. Grill, under contract to Amos Wallin, is riding in good form at present and regarded as a fine prospect by horsemen. J. H. Davis brought in a public stable from Kansas City, which included Aurica, Luxury, Elegant Miss, Yarnallton, Boston Common, World Traveller and Dixie D. Eddie Killian, who handles the publio address system at Oaklawn Park and other tracks, stopped off here en route from California to Chicago. There were numerous arrivals from Riverside Park over the week-end, though the Ak-Sar-Ben meeting has only ten days remaining on the schedule. Heading the arrivals was the stable of Mrs. H. G. Hyde in charge of trainer Fred B. Smith, and including Bon Champ, Mica Rock, Crystal Flyer and Elegy; Ray Barnett brought in Item, Popular Vote and Clovina; R. Dennis came with Sweet Manners; P. Bales has Maudie M. M. F. G. Orr brought in Northern Water and Genipa. K. S. Cleveland, Kentucky breeder, sent six horses here for the remainder of the meeting, some of them two-year-olds, but has not registered the horses. Apprentice J. Kinnard, who rode with much success at Riverside Park, will ride here during the final two weeks of the meeting. Paul Castle will make his engagements. a-—
