I MOUNT ROYAL TURF NOTES | g . S W. Drinkwater arrived Monday morning from Toronto with a division of his stable, including Kebbie and Wm. Allan Jr., the property of Mrs. Drinkwater; Nilrebo and Rockvale, which perform for A. C. Lock; Vail a three-year-old filly owned by Frank Gilbert, popular radio entertainer, and Step Pretty, which runs in his own interest. A. Higgins arrived with the seven-year-old gelding Captive and plans to stay for tho remainder of the Quebec season. Other arrivals from the Queen City were W. J. Watermans Julius J. R. and the six-year-old mare Fair Charter, the property of W. H. Mountain. Apprentice T. Barker accompanied tho Drinkwater string ahd will do the lightweight riding for the stable. Barker scales at ninety-three pounds.
