SKALKAHOE. away in stride, permitted JOCKANA to set the early pace, took command approaching the stretch and won thereafter. MISS SAXON, a strong factor most of the way, gave good response to strong pressure, but was no match for the winner. WAZAYATA improved his position gradually and finished gamely. ICY WIND improved his position, but was no threat. NOVITO had no excuse. RED EVA finished resolutely. JOCKANA quit after displaying early speed. RAGGEDY PANTS was never dangerous. GOLDEN WATCH raced well for three-eighths. TIP OVER became unmanageable and ran away a mile before the start, then was nulled up after going an eighth in the running. PAWN TICKET began fast, dropped back after racing a quarter, then rallied to strong pressure and closed resolutely. PING quit. TIGER her in the stretch. BLACK WARWICK had CLAW gave a good performance. CARNELIAN improved position a rough trip. ONALARK showed nothing. MAM displayed early speed. ROLL HOME began fast, but lacked speed thereafter. The latter broke in motion but lacked speed, gained rapidly in the stretch and was going fastest at the end. SANSKRIT, on the outside throughout, gained steadily under a hustling ride. ECCENTRIC tired under strong handling. JUST FRANK, fractious, began slowly, improved his position gradually and turned in a good performance. JOANEY B., taken out of it at the start, was permitted to race under her own courage thereafter. JUDGE KAVANAGH had early speed. MIDLANDA raced well for three eishths. GABLE raced clear early, was under occasional pressure to maintain his advantage, sharply impeded SOUTHERN WAY and PRINCE FELLOW approaching the stretch, which enabled him to draw away, but failed to withstand the winner under punishment. SILAS gained rapidly in the stretch and closed gamely. PRINCE FELLOW was racing strongly when impeded, and lost ground thereafter. JOHNNY TIGHT had no excuse. ANKLETS showed nothing. KAILIN was outrun. SOUTHERN WAY was eliminated when almost thrown approaching the stretch. BOBBYS SON quit. WESTON had no excuse. CACTUS ROSE, apparently in need of racing, was allowed to remain out of contention, was not persevered with in the drive and should benefit by the effort. SWEET MEMORIES, taken in hand and cleverly rated early, moved up when urged, took command approaching the stretch, weakened badly near the end and was giving way to the belated rush of EXOTUDE. Th latter improved her position gradually and closed fast, but could not overhaul the winner. JULIA GRANT raced to a commanding lead early, but lost ground gradually after giving way to the winner. KING BONNY closed resolutely. SUN BOY, allowed to drop far out of contention, was taken up for no apparent reason when leaving the back stretch and failed to be dangerous under weak handling. VESEE, far back for a half mile, closed an immense gap and finished strongest. PRINCESS A. O., a strong contender to the final eighth, faltered when subjected to strong pressure. PASTRY, prominent for much of the trip, tired under punishment LEGALITY raced improved. LUCKY AMELIA tired. PRINCESS OCTA had no excuse. OLD HONESTY quit. The others were never dangerous. .
