1 LAT0NIA TURF NOTES ! J -♦ Jockey Leonard Hale waived the privilfre of filling his engagements Tuesday, bo hla five-day suspension will begin Wednesday and terminate after Saturdays racing. C. R. Valentine and Kirby Ramsey completed a deal whereby the former acquired Pastry, while the latter look over the two-year-old General Boy. Terms of the transaction were private. The Fernandez brothers, Antonio and Fernando, Cuban jockeys, will visit their home I in Havana after the Latonia meeting. After , a brief vacation they will return to the states to report to D. W. Foy, their agent. W. G. Sudduth bought the interest that R. V. Elliott held in the-five-year-old Sport Marvel and he will race for Sudduth in the third race Wednesday. Elliott will continue to train the animal. Jockey Mack Garner will resume riding Wednesday after serving his second ten-day suspension. Garner is in demand, having several engagements to fill.
