SIS AGNES, taken in hand early, came around the leaders entering the stretch, took command a sixteenth out and won drawing away under pressure. ROLANDA rushed to the lead early, continued gamely, but could not withstand the winner. THROUGH OMOND, a strong factor to the final eighth, weakened after offering a bid JESSIE DEAR, slow to get going, failed to be dangerous under strong riding. LIMBUS, on the inside throughout had no excuse. CAMP COOK showed nothing. BEN BERNIE was outrun. EARL BAKER quit. Scratched— 12940 Angon Bridge, 112; 12938 Patsyette, 107. ORIENTAL MISS, cleverly handled, was kept well up under occasional pressure, continued gamely under hard riding, overhauled the leaders in the stretch and won going away. BOLD BID, slow to get going, closed an immense gap in the stretch and might have been best. WIDOW STAR rushed to the lead early, but tired badly. GORGEOUS HUSSY raced well. PATTI SING raced evenly. SIS BLAZE tired. BINOCULAR could not keep up SATINWOOD was timidlv handled. HAEHEART was eliminated when almost thrown. KING CICERO, slow to attain his best stride, raced to the outside for the drive, caused a jam at the eighth post, then drew out to win going away. POTTERTON, outrun to the stretch, came to the inside for the drive, gained rapidly and was up in the final strides for second place. EDDY LEE disposed of RETTEF approaching the stretch, held on with good courage, but was not good enough. OUR SAMMY closed resolutely SUNSHINE BOY could not keep up. ABDEL, taken out of it at the start, closed well when urged. GLAMOROUS could not keep up. PARADE STEP and RETTEF quit. . MISS SUBWAY, a strong factor from the start, came to the inside entering the stretch, withstood the drive gamely and outlasted PETER PUMPKIN. The latter, forced wide while gaining, closed strongly and might have been best. NICKS CHUCK, taken out of it at the start, was all over the track thereafter. MISS LIZZIE began quickly, raced RAYMOND into defeat, but tired in the stretch. RAYMOND displayed good early speed. BEHIND ME could not keep up, almost unseated his rider when he stepped into a hole and lost ground rapidly thereafter. GALLOPING was racing strongly when he stepped into a hole and fell. REGARDS, rank at the post, reared in the air when the start came, then tired after reaching contention. SIR KOSTER had no excuse. SOUTHLAND POET showed nothing. SMOOTH, rushed to the lead early, remained in front under mild reserve, tired in the stretch, was beaten when the interference occurred and was almost displaced when his rider eased him before reaching the finish. UPON, a good distance back for three quarters moved up steadily thereafter, closed gamely, but was no match for the winner. WHANGDOODLE raced evenly to the final eighth, then tired. ERECH showed nothing. KNEE ACTION, probably best, was almost thrown going to the first turn and sharply blocked entering the stretch, but gained rapidly when clear and finished fastest. WATERFRONT raced evenlv under a hustling ride. LADY LAURA quit. MISSION CLOCK was far back throughout. Scratched— 12642 Reelaway, 100. Overweight — Knee Action, 3j pounds; Mission Clock, IJ.
