Resident manager Trav Daniel and 3 Guy and Paul Waggoner, owners of the g Downs, have arranged a tentative fall pro- " gram that calls for the distribution of 70,- c 000 in purses. The minimum purse will be 00, with j three ,000 added stakes and several events r of ,500 and ,000. j Daniel expects to have the stakes arranged j within a few days and will release them j during the trip elst that he will make with [ j Paul Waggoner about July 10, at which time q they will visit all of the eastern tracks and £ contact the leading horsemen. f There has been discussion among the Downs officials in regards to a totalizator, but no definite action has been taken. € Charles J. McLennan is expected to return € as racing secretary, as he has assisted with * the arranging of the stakes. It is likely that the Texas Demy, won last l spring by Roman Soldier, will be boosted to I 5,000 in 1936.
