IDLE VICTORY, under steadying restraint for the first half mile, was within striking distance of the leaders, moved up stoutly thereafter, went to the front when reaching the stretch and drew out steadily through the last eighth. ON OCR WAY displayed good speed from the start, disposed of ALWINTOUR. but was unable to withstand the winners bid. GRAY CREST, outpaced early, closed with a rush on the outside through the stretch. PROHIBITION was going gamely at the end. ALVVINTOCR displayed good speed, but faltered in the last quarter mile. STARE was always outrun. Start good and slow. Won handily; second and third driving. SUN DANCER went into the lead immediately, drew into a good lead and, dominating the running throughout, continued gamely to the close. MADAME ZERO was prominently placed all the way, though unable to improve her position under punishment. THE MILLAY, well placed, went evenly all the way. FESTOON, away slowly, never could gain a position of prominence. LADY GREENOCK was unable to reach the leaders. The others were never prominent. Overweight — Fashion Queen, 1 pound. QCEEN HELEN raced to the front at once, drew clear in the first quarter and held sway to the end. PAY RACK, in nearest pursuit of the pace, continued well to the finish. AIR LINE moved up steadily in the last three -eighths and closed stoutly. ORIFICE, away slowly, closed a big gap. EARLY DAWN, well placed, suffered slight interference nearing the far turn and was unable to keep tip thereafter. DOVE OF PEACE was in a jam approaching the far turn and had to be taken up sharply. * Scratched— 13027 Cynwyd, 106. Overweight — Queen Helen, 3 pounds: Hot Griddle. 3. FOURTH RACE 3-4 MILE. BARCAROLLE worked his way up steadily and came willingly in the last quarter. BLCE GAUNTLET moved up to the leaders steadily, hut was unable to make up ground in the stretch. STAINFORTH disolaved good speed, but faltered in the last quarter. CANDLMATE raced willingly at the end. EPITAPH tired after racing a half mile. SUN ERIN trailed the leaders throughout. CHALLEPHEN was racing stoutly at the finish. THE HARE tired through the last three-sixteenths. HERONDAS was never a factor. ROYAL BALLAD, away slowly, was outrun throughout. BRILLFALON. reserved within striking distance of the leaders, was unable to improve his position under punishment. NORTH WALES II was never a threat. HIGH IMAGE tired in the last five sixteenths. HAPPY EASTER, steadied along in near attendance of the pace, moved up on the inside leaving the back stretch, swung to the outside in the last quarter mile and responded gamely to punishment, wore down BIPARTISAN and was drawing away at the end. BIPARTISAN, prominently placed all the way, took command when BEFITTING began tiring and continued gamely to the end, but was not good enough for the winner. CAPPOQLTN improved his position gradually and closed a good gap. BEFITTING tired after a half mile, JOEMAC never could enter into contention. YANKEE PRINCE quit badly in the last eighth. MATHIAS, prominently placed from the start, responded gamely to hard urging and, closing stoutly, just missed. FREE worked his way up steadily and closed with a rush on the outside throughout the stretch. OLD JUDGE, restrained early, was unable to improve his position when called upon.
