TERRIER, taken out after reaching the last three eighths, improved his position fast in the stretch and was rapidly wearing down the winner. EURYALUS, fractious but away well, was a factor throughout. GOOD CHEER closed with a rush on the extreme outside. FREDRICK had speed under hustling tactics, but faltered after racing five-eighths. TROUPER finished well in a good effort. GRACE C. A. had fine speed for the going from the start, but weakened badly in the last three sixteenths. CONTINUITY bore out badly on the turn.
