EXETER improved his position on the outside, lost ground, responded to urging and finished fast. SENTRY closed ground steadily. VITOX had no mishaps. LEW DUNBAR showed early speed. RED FLASH, a forward factor under restraint, made a bad landing at the tenth fence, recovered quickly, disposed of SILVERSKIN when ready and drew away, winning with speed in reserve. SILVERSKIN showed early speed, jumped well and had no mishaps. MATAGAIN was outrun. BERRILLDON FLASH lost his rider at the tenth fence, was remounted and finished the course. THRUSTER appeared sore going to the post, raced in near pursuit of the pace and held on well. ABNER, outrun the first part, saved ground entering the stretch, was blocked at the eighth pole and was forced to come to the outside. JADAAN showed early speed, saved ground, but quit under urging.
