MOTTLED forced the pace under strong handling and held on tenaciouslv. SUN ASIA, forced to lose ground from the start, held on well. EPI WITCH made up ground. POLITE ANN quit. SADIE F. showed speed. PACHECO, racing in his best form and away well, worked his way through the field while improving his positon, but tired after offering a strong bid in the stretch. FAIRLY WILD raced wide. CHIPS quit. PUBLICATION showed nothing.
