JUG OF GOLD, well placed throughout, took command entering the stretch, tired in the final eighth, but outfinished ROCKVALE. The latter came with a rush in the last quarter. JRISH KID, away slowly, was rushed to the leaders, but tired in the final drive. LOGWOOD met interference •oon after the start, dropped back and could not reach contention.
