| FOUR SUSPENDED BY THE NEW YORK JOCKEY CLUB ; AQUEDUCT, N. Y., June 28.— George W. Ogle, A. Tipton, J. Lynch and Frank Mc-Manus have all been suspended by the stewards of The Jockey Club. This action was announced yesterday as a result of an investigation of a race run at Belmont Park May 24 and the sentence was passed at a meeting of the stewards held Thursday. The race in question was a mile and a furlong affair that was won by the B. B. Stables Playfole and in the same field Ogle started Dignified, which was ridden by Lynch. In the running Dignified had raced fairly close to the contention until well into the stretch, where he quit badly to finish fourth in the field of five that raced. It was not set forth just what connection Tipton and McManus had with this race, but all of the suspensions came through its investigation. The ruling against Ogle suspends his Hccrr23 and denies him admission to all race courses under the jurisdiction of The Jockey Club and denies all his entries. The same ruling was made against Tipton while the licenses of both Lynch and Mc-manus, both jockeys, were suspended. The meeting was attended by John E. Cowdin, who presided in the absence of chairman William Woodward, George D. Widener, A. H. Morris, George Bull, Robert A. Fairbairn, J. E. Davis and Marshall Cas-sidy, steward for the New York State Racing Commission. Cassidy said the rulings were made under authority in rules 70-71 and 218.
