RUSH ELLIS TO PAINT WINNER ARLINGTON, Texas, April 6. Rush Elli3. internationally famous painter of race and show horses, as well as birds, dogs, cats and other animals, will paint in oils the winner of the Fort Worth Frontier Celebration Handicap next Saturday. Ellis, who is a keen student of the thoroughbred, has" agreed to do this job as a gesture of appreciation to the officials of the Texas Jockey Club, who permitted the well-known artist to hang part of his collection in the loungc3 of the clubhouse. Immediately following the race Saturday, Ellis will make arrangements with the owner of the winning horse and will complete the painting at the barns. Ellis i3 fast with the brush and expects to have the completed canvas ready on Derby Day, Saturday, April 18, when it will be formally presented to the winning owner by the Lawrence Art Galleries, Dallas, with which Ellis is associated.
