READY TO RECEIVE STABLES NEW YORK, N. Y., April 7. Preparations are completed at Belmont Park to receive the Brookmeade Stable, Marshall Field-R. L. Gerry, King Ranch, Max Hirsch and other stables which wintered at Columbia, S. C. A special train, consisting of ten express cars and a day coach, is being held at Columbia awaiting word from officials to load, the thoroughbreds, which are destined for New York racing. The Brookmeade Stable and Field-Gerry stable stalls are bedded down and fodder enough to last for the next two months is stored in the lofts. Another important stable due here is that of C. V. Whitney in charge of trainer T. J. Healey. The horses are expected any time, according to the present rumors. The Greentree Stable, at Red Bank, N.- J. in charge of Bill Bren-nan, will not be vanned over until the weather clears, avoiding- bad traffic conditions in crossing local traffic from the Holland.
