IMPROVEMENTS AT JAMAICA NEW YORK, N. Y., April 7. The improvements recently installed at the Jamaica race course, including the camera eye will be shown to New York turf writers, the members of the -racing commission and members of The Jockey Club, following a luncheon to be given Monday, April 13, by the Metropolitan Jockey Club. The luncheon will be in the clubhouse restaurant at Jamaica. Among those scheduled to be present are Algernon Daingerfield of The Jockey Club, Messrs. Swope, Whitney and Sloan of the racing commission; stewards Marshall Cas-sidy and R. A. Fairbairn, as well as the presidents of the New York race courses, Joseph E. Widener, Belmont Park; George Bull of Saratoga; John E. Cowdin of Aqueduct, and James Butler of Empire City. Edward P. Kilroe, president at Jamaica, will be the host. All of the turf writers now in Maryland for the racing there are planning to return for the luncheon. The New York season gets under way on April 15 at Jamaica with the running of the Paumonok Handicap.
