SIGN HAWTHORNE STARTER G. R. "Buddy" Wingfield, well known starter, yesterday wired acceptance of Hawthornes offer to start the fields at the Cicero track during the May and June meeting there. Wingfield notified president Albert Sabath that he would arrive in Chicago well in advance of the opening date to school horses and prepare for the meeting.
