FIELD TO BROADCAST DERBY NEW YORK, N. Y., April 7. Bryan Field, who bade farewell to his air name of Thomas Bryan George when he broadcast the recent Florida Derby, won by Brevity, will broadcast the Kentucky Derby on May 2, which will be carried exclusively over the Columbia network. Field was the exclusive broadcaster on the Derby last year, also. For the past five years he has aired the countrys big stake events, east and west. Previous to the Derby, Field will be heard broadcasting the Paumonok Handicap and Wood Memorial from Jamaica.
