ONLY FOUR MAY START IN MARCHBANK HANDICAP SAN BRUNO, Calif., March 7. It begins to appear as if but four horses and certainly not more than a half dozen will fight it out for the 0,000 added prize in the Marchbank Handicap. The four that will do battle for the richest prize of the Tanforan meeting are Top Row, Bert Baronis gallant undersized animal; Azucar, the ex-steeplechaser from Old Erin; Thursday, marathon runner from the East; and Indian Broom, sensational Canadian-owned three-year-old. Arson and Slapped are possible starters, but they are little better than good platers, while Special Agent, Riskulus, Jovius, Ann ORuley, Red Ensign and Coldwater may be rgarded as non-starters or extremely doubtful starters. Top Row will take his final prep gallop for the big race Wednesday morning. The Baroni star came out of his Monday morning exercise gallop sound as a bell of brass. It was revealed that he carried high bandages instead of low ones in his Monday morning work, and that they caused a slight change of stride.
