ARLINGTONS FIRST FEATURE ,000 Added Frontier Exposition Handicap Saturday 23 Eligi-fcles Weights Wednesday. ARLINGTON, Texas, April 7. Twenty-three of the nations finest thoroughbreds have been named for the ,000 added Frontier Exposition Handicap, the first important stake of the current spring meeting at Arlington Downs, and which will be decided over a mile and one-sixteenth next Saturday as the feature of the regular eight-race program. Weights will be announced late Wednesday and starters will be named through the entry box on Friday. Heading the imposing list is H. C. Hatchs fleet Ariel Cross, coupled with Crofter as an entry for the Canadian sportsman. The Milky Way Farms named two, Doran and Whiskolo, both of which are remarkably fit horses, and which probably will be sent post-ward by trainer Bob McGarvey. Whiskolo has won at Arlington Downs and Dorans achievements on the West Coast need no retelling here. F. A. Carreaud has named time Supply and the spectacular son of Time-maker Surplice will have many backers if the former Texan decides to start his candidate. Sound Advice has been named by Mrs. A. M. Creech, and C. E. Davison will probably start Garden Message and Salaam; H. C. Rumage is another owner with two horses, Bold Lover and Our Count, both of which have shown a preference for the Arlington Downs track. The Three Ds Stock Farm will be represented by Irish Ford, with T. C. Wordens Billy Jones carrying the maroon and white silks for the Ben Jones equipage.
