I BAY MEADOWS TURF NOTES T ., The stallion Polvo arrived from W. J. Potters farm at Mobile, Ala., and is now at the Santa Rita stock farm of Charles A. Hartwell. His arrival marks the newest addition to Californias rapidly growing ranks of sires. Jockey C. Shultz returned from the South recovered from a foot injury and was in the saddle Wednesday. He will probably rule favorite for the Bing Crosby jockey contest in view of Basil James departure for Kentucky Thursday. It is likely that -John N. Rosekrans, who claimed Merry Go Round will gather together a strong stable for racing on the California tracks.
