1 ARLINGTON DOWNS NOTES i 4 Mathieson, three-year-old son of Escoba, which races for Mrs. Virgil Oden, was un-sexed Friday. Jack Jarvis will campaign six head at the Kansas City meeting. Trainer J. J. Flanigan, who has charge of the extensive Valdina Stable, plans to send his entire string to Churchill Downs and the horses will be loaded Sunday night. Apprentice N. L. Pierson, who is under contract to the Valdina Farm, will depart Saturday night for the Kentucky course. Clyde Troutt, who claimed Chatterfol, reports the gelding having a filling in his leg and will be out of competition for some time. Judge Joseph A. Murphy, director of racing, announced Friday that scratch time Saturday morning would be 8 oclock. It will be for Saturday only and the time is being moved up to benefit the printers of the programs. W. D. George, prominent New Orleans manufacturer, is visiting his brother, R. B. George at the latters home in Dallas and is a daily visitor at Arlington Downs. E. E. Russell has leased the services of apprentice R. Hightshoe for the New England season. Hightshoe is under contract to. F. J. Estes.
