1 ARLINGTON DOWNS NOTES S c Nominations for the Juvenile Stakes, to be renewed as the feature of Wednesdays program and the Central Centennial Handicap, which tops the closing day card next Saturday, will close Saturday night. Monte Preston announced the arrival of three fillies and a colt at Fred Turner, Jr.s, Midland Texas Farm. They are the first of the get of Westys Fox, which stands at the head of the Turner Ranch. T. C. Wordens Navanod was excused from filling his engagement in the fifth race Friday when trainer B. A. Jones reported the horse went lame. Fire Advance was excused from the same race after he ran away for two miles when being galloped this morning. Time Supply, which will fill his engagement in the Central Centennial Handicap, had a useful preparation for that important event when he breezed a mile over the fast inside track Friday morning in 1:42. Under restraint while running the quarter in :26, the half mile in :52 and the three-quarters in 1:17, he was allowed to step along during the final quarter mile, which he ran in :25. Sun Monk, also expected to be under colors in that nine-furlong journey, breezed a mile in 1:42. His fractions were :25, :50 and 1:15. Joe Robilios fine mare Dixie Conna Thursday foaled a nice looking filly at the Thiee Ds -Stock Farm. Kilkerry was the sire. Ross Higdon is shipping Eloise, with a colt by Morocco and a foal by Kilkerry, to F. B. Koontz Paulfred Farm, Tulsa, where the mare will be bred to Sweeping Light.
