MAYSTICK took command at once, was under a good drive from the start, drew clear after reaching the stretch, tired in the last stages but withstood SARAHMOND. The latter, well up throughout, was forced wide entering the stretch, faltered slightly approaching the final eighth, came again in the last stages and was wearing the winner down at the end. COUNT RAE, outrun early, was sent to the inside for the drive and closed with a rush. RENAISSANCE moved up fast alter three-eighths and held on well. LOVELY SPY, in close quarters early, made up ground in the last eighth. BLUE CAT had no mishaps. ETERNAL FLASH and FANCY FLIGHT quit. Overweight Count Rac, 2 pounds; Lovely Spy, 4.
