SNYDER TRAINS THIRTY-EIGHT Tranquillity Farm and Bidwill String Largest at Churchill Downs Basil James Reports. LOUISVILLE, Ky., April 17 Training thirty-two horses for Henry H. Cross Tranquillity Farm and six for Charles W. Bid-wells Chicago Stable, trainer Edward L. Snyder not only has the largest stable at Churchill Downs, but one of the most formidable. Eleven of the racers are two-year-olds, a like number older than three and sixteen are three-year-olds. Acting for Cross, Snyder recently closed a deal for the contract on Basil James, and the youngster, who ranks high among apprentices, reported to the stable Friday from California. The Bidwill horses embrace the older Nigrescent, Shady Wood, Foxiana and Gyral, and the two-year-olds Shadow Time, a gelded son of Altawood and Night Shade, and Critical Lady, a filly by the same sire and from Critical Moment. Both are chestnuts. The Cross two-year-olds, with their names, color, sex and breeding follow: Challite, b. f, by Challenger II. Design; Mibs, ch. f, by Challenger II. Teapot; Teddy Green formerly Game Boy, br. c, by Teddy Green Girl; Dark Friend, br. g, by Carlaris My Pet; Grey Simon, gr. c, by Sir Greysteel Flower of Erin; Miss Tranquil, blk. f, by Balko Campus Capers; Night Gail, b. f, by Bright Knight Lady Capulet; No Name, b. f, by Noah Mon Amienane; Sir Steel, b. c, by Sir Greysteel Move Along. According to information received by trainer Snyder, all the requirements necessary to change the name of a horse have been complied with in the case of the former Game Boy, which in the future will be known as Teddy Green.
