1 ARLINGTON DOWNS NOTES U 4 e Acting for E. Robinowitz, George F.Jenkins traded the filly Royal Julia to P. L. Fuller for the four-year-old Pomparia. J. A. Kirk was granted a trainers license and will direct the preparation of Beau Bon. E.- Dauenhauer departs for Narragansett, Sunday, and will make the engagements for jockey Johnny Deering and apprentice Roy Hightshoe during the New England season. Waldo Freeman has been engaged to train Sir Boston for the H. and H. Stock Farm Stable and the three-year-old is a member of the large stable Freeman shipped to Churchill Downs, Thursday. Headed by The Fighter and Doran, two of Mrs. Ethel V. Mars Kentucky Derby eligi-bles, the pretentious Milky Way Farms Stable departed for Churchill Downs. The stable, due to its Texas Derby and other imr portant stakes conquests, was the largest money winner of the meeting. J. H. Logan is shipping his stable to Narragansett Park. Upon its arrival at the Rhode Island track, Logan will select several head for a New York campaign. Another foal arrived at Three Ps Stock Farm when Witch Lass foaled a bay son of Liberty Limited. Three other mares are expected to foal this week. The horses M. W. Buck has here will be shipped to Detroit next Tuesday. Buck goes from here to Lexington, where he will pick up several horses to augment his stable for the Michigan season. Walter H. Donovan, chairman of the Florida racing commission, was a visitor at Arlington Downs, Wednesday. Donovan witnessed the running of the Juvenile Handicap, before which he was the guest at luncheon with E. Paul Waggoner and resident manager Trav Daniel. Donovan intended stopping off in Fort Worth to visit Guy L. Waggoner, chairman of the Texas racing commission, who is now recuperating from an operation. Eugene Bury, who serves as racing secretary at the Ak-Sar-Ben meeting at Omaha, Neb., is distributing condition books for the first nine days of that Nebraska season,, which gets under way May 28. The minimum purse will be 00, but the minimum value is only for those horses foaled in Nebraska. A race daily is programmed for this class of performers. There are several handicaps, carrying a ,000 value each. Jockey Dan Brammer, leading rider of America, left for Churchill Downs following the close of Thursdays program. Roy Dickerson, whose starting here has been of the first order, plans on taking in the Kentucky Derby before proceeding to Chicago. Dickerson serves as starter at Arlington Park and Washington Park. Jockey L. McDermott left Thursday for Narragansett Park. Judge Brown will ship the Mrs. V. Wyse horses to that point at the same time.
