I RIVERSIDE PARK NOTES $ . . George W. Coffey, local sportsman, applied for stalls today for Reelon and Heart Break. Coffey recently claimed Reelon from the Milky Way Farms Stable for ,500. Heart Break, which proved to be the most consistent winner at the recent Fair Grounds meeting, is a nominee for the Inaugural Handicap, feature of the opening day offering here. The Three Ds Stock Farm, through John V. Pons, applied for stalls for My Dainty, Exchange Club, Ridgewise, Phalazetta, Princess B., Big Train, Royal Palace, Princess Teddy and Peters Pet. Frank Orr, with Northern Water, Pompo-hone, Printemps, High Delight, Footwork, Night Parties and Terrier, arrived from Hot Springs. Terrier was consigned to A. W. Mac-Masters here. Another arrival from Hot Springs duriny the week was Noble Tiller, with Royal Treasure, Sweet Peach, Apronette, Friend Fred, Krakerjac, Come Along and Tecolote. Valise and Kavalry Jack, the property of Lieutenant Kohler, arrived from Hot Springs in charge of trainer T. Fowler. Knave, Full Up and Buster Boy, which were campaigned at Florida during the winter by G. Emick, local owner, will be moved to Riverside Park next week. The horses arrived here last week from Florida and have been stabled at Emicks Farm, near here. H. Morrison, racing secretary at Bay Meadows and who fills the same position at Riverside Park, writes that there is considerable interest in the coming meeting at Riverside among the horsemen at Bay Meadows, and he expects that there will be at least 200 head shipped here from that point. Due to the fact that the Riverside meeting is attracting more attention this year than ever, so many requests have been made for stalls that officials here have been forced to turn down many applications and, in view of this, horsemen are warned not to ship here unless they have been notified that stalls have been reserved for them. John McMahon, well known Kansas City sportsman and now a resident of Denver, Colo., is at present visiting here, and from him comes the statement that the Colorado racing bill will again be brought forth this fall and will be put to a vote of the people. If the bill passes, Mr. McMahon states there will be a track built at Denver and one at Colorado Springs. Former starter Jack Jarvis wired from Arlington Downs that he was shipping Baldy, Uleadus, War Trap, Miss Flicker and two two-year-olds here at the conclusion of the Arlington Downs meeting. W. R. Watson was an arrival from Hot Springs with Topway and Title Oak. The Wichita Stables Blue Foam, Just Cap and Cloudet arrived, from New Orleans and will later be joined by the division of the stable that is now racing at Arlington Downs. G. W. Ellis, who is training a large stable for R. E. Angle of Wichita, applied for stalls for Culloden, Enro, Steinbuchel, Sandvato and Iron Sands.
