ENOUGH TORONTO TRACKS? TORONTO. Ont.. May 13.— According to Controller W. D. Bobbins, who is acting mayor in the absence of Mayor Sam Mc-Bride, the board of control does not look with favor on the proposal of certain local sportsmen to lease the track at the Canadian National Exhibition grounds for a race meeting in July. "I understand Mayor Mc-Bride takes the same view," stated Controller Robbins, "and thinks there are enough tracks operating around Toronto now." The sportsmen sponsoring the venture will appear before the board of control tomorrow and will offer 5,000 for the use of the grounds and are prepared to spend between 25,000 and 50,000 on the meeting, of which, 0,000 alone would be paid out in wages.
