KENTUCKY OAKS PROSPECTS One or More Fillies Coming From East for Saturdays Concluding Feature at Louisville. LOUISVILLE, Ky., May 13.— Interest in the sixty-second running of the Kentucky Oaks, to be decided as the feature of Churchill Downs closing day program Saturday, reached a higher plane this morning when word was received from Maryland that C. V. Whitneys Two Bob was en route here and that there was a possibility that Hal Price Headleys Sparta would also be shipped here. The addition of these two splendid three-year-old fillies to the probable field means that the race, like other Churchill Downs fixtures, will be an intersectional battle. Six eligibles for the nine furlongs journey, which carries ,000 in added money, were under colors in the Watterson Hotel Purse this afternoon, and Mary Terry, the western favorite for the classic, with two other eligibles. were seen in useful trials this morning. Although Two Bob, a daughter of The Porter and Blessings, failed to win a stake last season, she was a winner of four races and has been training splendidly. Spartas second to High Fleet in the Artful Purse at Belmont Park Tuesday was enough to justify her being shipped here for her engagement. Over the muddy track at Churchill Downs this morning Mary Terry, C. R. Thompsons daughter of Terry, and a half-sister to Time Clock, vent a handy mile in 1:43-;,. She was timed the three-quarters in 1:17. Due to her victory over eight other Oaks candidates in the Misses Purse, Mary Terry has established herself as the local choice for the race. At Douglas Park, where the track also was muddy. Rock Home Stables Dora May, which finished second to Mary Terry in the Misses Purse, went a handy mile in 1:47. Erla, which Jack Howard is training for C. B. Shaffers Coldstream Stud, went an easy nine furlongs in 2:03*3. The final days program should be in keeping with other half-holiday cards. A substitute race that will serve as a trial for the Latonia Derby already has been carded to replace the original seventh race, and the Au Revoir Handicap will be another feature. There will be an extra days racing on Monday, it being in charge of Kentucky Derby Week Festivity Association.
