! NARRAGANSETT PARK NOTES 1 i ยง Steward Tom Thorp received word from the Florida State Racing Commission that the suspension inflicted upon trainer J. Gorga, would expire June 4. It will be recalled that Gorga was suspended during the Tropical Park meeting when Move Faster, a stoutly supported choice, ran out of the money and a saliva test proved positive. Jockey Bobby Jones has been engaged to ride J. W. Y. Martins Dark Hope in the Governors Handicap here next Saturday. Apprentice Herbert Le Blanc and jockey Frank Smith are leading the riders here with seven wins each. Le Blanc is a sixteen-year-old boy from New Orleans under contract to Max Hirsch, goes to the scales at 95 and rode his first winner on March 18 of this year.
