THOMAS C, outrun early, came through on the inside in the final quarter and closed with determination. HIGHMOST showed a good effort all the way. DRAWN SWORD raced forwardly during the early stages, made a determined bid when straightened out in the stretch and finished well. ALANAD came through on the inside in the stretch run and closed with determination. SEAMYTH came to the outside in the stretch after being outrun in the early stages and finished fast. DEDICATION improved his position after overcoming early interference and closed with determination. FOUR SPOT, outrun to the stretch turn, made up some ground. CREOLE BIRD was rushed into earlv contention, but tired from early effort. NARISE, on the outside all the way, faltered under urging. AROUSED quit in the stretch run. ADVOCATOR raced well from the start, responded to pressure inside the final eighth, disposed of REBELLION and drew away, but outlasted GURKHA in the final drive. The latter improved his position steadily on the inside and finished with good courage. OPTIC raced greenly but forwardly and finished stoutly at the end. STAND IN showed early speed, but had no mishaps in the running. REBELLION swerved over towards the inside after showing early speed and then faltered. THIRD COUNT finished well. DOWN UNDER improved his position steadily, came to the outside in the stretch and disposed of GALLOPING ON in the last strides. GALLOPING ON followed the pace under restraint, came to the outside of the leaders entering the stretch and held on well under severe pressure in the final drive. DEFLATE was shuffled back after the break, but made up ground slowly under urging. SHINING SUN was well up in the early stages and had no mishaps. WHICHAWAY was outrun to the stretch turn. BINKS lacked early speed. SUNRAP, on the outside to the stretch turn, quit in the final quarter mile. GOLDEN LYRE had early speed, but quit badly under urging. Scratched 26321 Kicvan, 110. BROWN TWIG, in nearest pursuit of the pace all the way, moved up with courage on the outside rounding the stretch turn, but swerved to the inside in the final eighth, although outlasting GILLIE at the finish. The latter improved his position under urging after being straightened out for the strcch run and closed with good courage. CHICSTRAW was placed under restraint in the early running, moved up when called upon and finished well. GOLDENEYE slipped through on the inside rounding the stretch turn, moved, up gamely, but then faltered. SEABISCUIT stumbled at the break and recovered slowly, then was outrun all the way.
