TITANICAL, going in its best form and unable ,to keep up early, responded fast when sent through the field for the drive, wore DENBIGH down in the last stages and outfinished SPORTING GREEN. The latter moved up fast after an eighth, was steered to the outside in the last stages and finished strongly. DENBIGH took command under hustling tactics, was unable to draw clear and tired. HEARTY, used up in the pace, gave way under pressure. JADVA showed a good effort. BROADWAY GIRL was outrun. LITTLE WICHITA showed nothing. Overweight Hearty, 2 pounds; Little Wichita, 1. BLUE ALICE, away fastest but saved when challenged, was steered through the field entering the stretch, raced around TOP TAX when reaching the lead and won easily. TOP TAX rushed into the lead early, drew away after five-sixteenths, gave way to the winner, but held on well. PHOTOGRAPHY, under strong handling throughout, tired in the last eighth. HASTY HERMIT, forced to lose ground early, came to the inside for the drive and finished well. PURPLE WING had no mishaps. MATE TEA showed a good effort. PELORIA quit. CAPITALIST, under good handling throughout, was forced wide by CHIEFS PRIDE at the stretch turn and tired 1 thereafter. HOMER L., away slowly and outrun for a half mile, came- to the inside for the drive and finished strongly. LITTLE ARGO raced wide. BONYNGE quit.
